Wimborne Minster shopping & Wimborne market
The main shopping area close to the Minster includes a number of quality shops and restaurants and on the outskirts of town is the famous Wimborne Market. One of the largest open and covered markets in the south of England, it operates every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Wimborne's Priests House Museum
Just across the road from the Minster is the Priests House Museum with a working Victorian kitchen and a walled garden. Also close to the town centre is the model town which re-creates the town exactly as it was during the 1950s. Amongst its 300 buildings are over 100 detailed shop window displays. Wimborne's art deco style Tivoli Theatre doubles as a live entertainment venue and a cinema.
Wimborne's local attractions
