Additionally it is an area of great beauty and breathtaking scenery. It has nearly 100 miles of coastline facing the English Channel, extending from Christchurch in the east to Lyme Regis in the west, offering an interesting contrast of fine sandy beaches, spectacular cliffs and the barren pebbled beach of Chesil Bank.
